Reward Yourself---
A special reward program for Chapter participation
will start at the January meeting. If you bring food, help with
hospitality; clean up, etc, you will receive a special ticket. You
need to write (print) your name and telephone number on it. Put it
in a special container at the meetings. If you do not win in January
the tickets will remain in the box until your name is drawn. Also
each month you can add tickets for next month if you help out your
chapter. Members will be responsible for getting their tickets and
depositing them in the container. There will be special items and/or
classes, seminars at different times during the year available to
these helpers.

January Class - PERSONALIZED EARRINGS

We will be learning to make and personalize earrings to go with a
garment. If you have something wild like a Hawaiian or geometric
patterned shirt, wear or bring it. Nancy and the monitors will help you
make a pattern and match the colors.
BRING; Small brushes, Acrylic paint setup, Pencil and white paper, Gray
transfer paper, Small cup, Old washrag
$4.00 for the Project, Earring kit, paint and patterns

The Florida State Fair will
again offer our chapter tables and space in the florida center building,
to demonstrate decorative painting.
We have always enjoyed the fellowship of painting together and
the complimentary tickets for our service.
Please study your personal calendars and call Nancy to sign-up for a 3
hr. painting
time of your choice.

STATE RETREAT -
MARCH 18-21, 2010
NOW is the time to sign up. Sign up On Line

If you do not sign up before January 30 - you may not get the classes
you want.
This retreat is especially for all you Florida Chapters, but is open to
anyone from any state. Tell your friends and join us for all kinds of
fun - painting, sharing ideas, raffles, relaxing and great food. Classes
in acrylics, oil, watercolor, colored pencil, pen and ink, fabric
painting and mixed media.

 Participants bring a present, worth about
$20, wrapped beautifully on their birthday month. This can be hand
painted items, books, wood or gifts certificates. Raffle tickets will be
sold and if your name is drawn you get to choose a gift! Other chapters
have told us they really enjoy this birthday surprise raffle. You don't
need to bring a gift more than once a year. |
